Badly designed costumes... blaugh... and generally I like Quite Frankly's work.leesahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13608527876282522935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683277093797025016.post-77223056913268899112010-11-24T10:55:57.864-05:002010-11-24T10:55:57.864-05:00Err, not quite, MB...

Agents, either. If I want to read The Authority or Secret Six, I'll buy The Authority or Secret Six.
Any chance of Cooke's cover being released as a poster? ;-)Britt Reidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07245579677452948620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683277093797025016.post-46084177303236767822010-11-15T11:31:49.635-05:002010-11-15T11:31:49.635-05:00FYI- The Archie and Omni efforts were actually don...FYI- The Archie and Omni efforts were actually done by John Carbonari (sp?), the guy behind JC Comics. So just an extension of what he did. He owned the rights to the THUNDER Agents, and after he died, his estate sold the rights to DC.

Deluxe was done by someone who had worked with JC, and thought he could get away with his own take on them, claiming they were PD. But JC shut him down. Solson only did one issue, AFAIK, and also done without rights.Michael Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16577632385379561930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-683277093797025016.post-37850014398464800472010-11-14T08:49:27.529-05:002010-11-14T08:49:27.529-05:00I agree with your review but I'm going to give...I agree with your review but I'm going to give the "new" THUNDER AGENTS a few more issues in the hopes that the series will find it's "legs". I'm an optimist. The original series was fun and the characters had a certain innocent charm to them that I wish could be recaptured for today's audience. Everything in comics seems so dark and grim these days.Tony Figueroahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10468460634234346984noreply@blogger.com
