Wow I didn't know they had so much nudity back then. I was raised in the Children of God (cult) and avidly read their self-produced comics called True Komix 1978-1985 and I can see where many of the artists got their inspiration-in some cases downright plagerism. --Very interesting.
That appeared in an issue of Warren's Eerie or Creepy. (phoenixkidd, Warren magazines were b/w and not under code. More aimed at adults, so nudity was allowed and fairly common).
I read that when I visited my aunt/uncle's place as a kid. One of my cousin's had many issues of Eerie & Creepy (was about 5 years older then me). Really made an impression on me. :)
Probably my first Wood story I saw. Probably the first comic story with nudity I saw.
All I can say is : WOW! Thank you for posting this.
ReplyDeleteI love this story! I am always amazed by Wallace Wood's storytelling, drawing skills and inking abilities. He was indeed a legend!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen this before...truly breathtaking! Thanks for posting.
