The faces and poses look very much lie Wood art to me and he did have Minnesota ties. But this is from 1951 and the illustration looks almost too polished for Wood at that point. Opinions?
I don't think it's Wood, although I can see some similarities. A lot of comic artists in the 50's had training as commercial illustrators, so it's possible that certain techniques were prevalent in a ton of artists' work, both in comics and advertising.
