A page of original art from Woody's delightfully dirty MALICE IN WONDERLAND from the mid-'70's, probably drawn by Hama or Kupperberg (which I'm sure Alan can clarify) to be inked by Wood later. (Note the pasteover of original Alice art, also!).
The only thing I know for sure concerning these Malice In Wonderland layouts is that I did NOT draw them.
In my opinion, I think Woody drew these layouts himself. I think the fact is that Woody was trying to emulate the original Tenniel drawings and this obscured his own style. Especially Alice's face. The "lettering" on the page is Woody's. in addition, the characters are all posed in Woody's stock, standard attitudes.
And check the vegetation in panel one. These surely strike me as Woody's "shrubbery concepts" (to use Gil Kane's phrase). A great piece. Thanks. Best, Alan K
