Whig Tory/Sgt Slab

We all have pages of random doodles. Here's one of Wally Wood's. The whiter panels at bottom right seem much older to me and pasted on for some reason.

  1. Looks like a consolidation, whereïn Wood had produced various images at various times, and now wanted them physically linked because of some underlying linkage in his mind.

  2. The "underlying linkage" is an interesting notion, perhaps one for future research. Mainly, Wood would produce many sketch pages and periodically clip out the ones he wanted to keep and tape them together on typing paper sheets for easy filing and access. There were many of these taped-up sheets. Yes, the drawings at bottom right have the ink style of his teenage artwork.
